What do we want from a rabbi? (members only)

Tuesday 3rd August in the Jewish Care building at 8:15.

aul Glantz will be facilitating a meeting of KN members. The aim will be to discuss and formulate what members want from a rabbi and give us the chance to describe what we want a rabbi to do. This will give us the opportunity to explore different points of view together. Each view needs to be explored fully so that we can all understand better what each other wants. This is to be written down and can be added to if it is put on the KN website as a blog. The purpose of this idea is to listen to everyone who wants to express what they want from a rabbi. It is not a discussion of what we are getting or not getting now or what is right or wrong with what is happening. It is not to discuss what we do not want. The idea is that it is more helpful at present to clarify our views and listen to each other. This will be another part of the conversation that has been initiated in the shul by the talks that Georgia is having with members one by one. Together all these conversations are laying the foundation for deciding later on how we can get what we want to actually happen. If you can't make this event let Paul know and if there are enough people he will organise a second meeting. Remember that Georgia or another member will be coming to talk to you soon in any event.
